August 18, 2026 · English Channel Solo Crossing
A Marketing Partnership Opportunity
In support of The Alexa Trust · Charity No. 1168705
Becky Yuan is a long-distance open water swimmer with two serious attempts behind her — her first English Channel crossing in 2024 and a Catalina Channel attempt in 2025, both cut short by violent weather, not by fitness. This August 18, she enters the water again: 33 km from England to France.
A multi-sport endurance athlete since 2016, she placed 3rd in her age category at the Canadaman X-Tri — Canada's toughest full-distance triathlon — and made history as the first Chinese Canadian to swim across Lake Erie (20 km, 2022). In 2023 she completed a 42 km relay crossing of Lake Ontario. Every dollar raised goes to The Alexa Trust, supporting families with babies in neonatal intensive care.
| Pilot Boat & Channel Swimming Association Fee | GBP 4,500 |
| Return Flights (Canada → UK) | CA$1,500 |
| Training & Equipment | CA$2,500 |
All sponsor contributions go directly toward these costs and The Alexa Trust.
Your logo on the pilot boat for the full duration of the crossing. The official Channel Swimming Association observer is on board throughout — this placement gets photographed constantly and appears in all coverage.
Your logo on the hoodies and hats worn by the support crew in every social media update before, during, and after the swim.
Sponsor a named hour of the crossing. During that hour, the crew posts a live video to Instagram and Facebook: "Becky is at the halfway mark — powered by [Your Company]!" 13–14 slots available — one per hour of the estimated crossing.
Multiple tiers can be combined. Gear contributions welcome in lieu of cash for the Team Kit tier.
The Alexa Trust is a UK-registered charity providing vital practical and emotional support to parents with babies in neonatal intensive care. It was founded in memory of Alexa James, born prematurely in 2015.
The Alexa Trust is one of the most frequently chosen charities for English Channel crossings worldwide — your brand joins a community of supporters with global reach in the open water swimming world.
